[928uk] central lock

There are sensors on each door lock to tell the alarm system what
position the locks are in. The lock position sensor on your passenger
side is not making when the door is locked with the motor (ie. With
central locking) and when that happens the system automatically opens
both doors - the reasoning behind this being that you may not notice one
side not working, but you will when both doors unlock! (I think). When
you lock the passenger door with the key it is a direct mechanical link,
and will move the mechanism right to the stop (sensor) position and
hence operate the sensor and the system is happy. It is probably
stiction in the mechanism (is it more difficult to turn the key on the
passenger side?) or the sensor needs adjusting.
I know this 'cos I have the same problem with my drivers lock - the
alarm fob works fine when the weather is warm, bloody useless when it's
cold

The good news is that as you can hear the motors working away there is
no nasty gremlins, just a bit of adjustment required.
