personally I don't give doodly squits what BM drivers do to try to 
impress others (nowt personal towards your son Mike). We all see pratts 
every day on the road who could not drive a pushchair. Talk to Hans - he 
has to pick up the bits.

What we all have here is an amazing car, and they do not get excercised 
enough! .

This s not a race, or a need to impress the girlies, it is an 
entertaining day where sensible people can learn a bit more about 
themselves and their car's capabilities, have a laugh and enjoy the 
company of other like minded individuals.
That's why we need to do this, and with 300 ish active participants we 
should be in a position to get enough support to make it work.

This banter  will run and run until Sept and we will see whether we have 
enough real enthusiasm to make it work. I  have some definates already 
after just 1 day, and I will, of course, be pestering from time to 
time!!

Come what may, I will be taking my pride and joy on a track some time 
soon and nailing it - last time I gave her a real blast I spent most of 
my time looking for the police and bloody mobile cameras. Sod that
