I already forwarded Robs original email to the MD of Porsche GB who Ive
been corresponding with on and off for a while as he's a 928 fan.
They have replied to say he will look at it when he returns on
Tuesday...
Of all the manufacturers in the world I do think Porsche are the only
one who really care about this kind of thing. We're all potential new
928 buyers after all. So lets see 360 list participants times 100k
(assuming we all get a big loan :-) ) is 36 million quid of customer
muscle power.
Hopefully we will get a response.
Stuff like this makes for unnecessary bills - its such a shame and
really hurts the Porsche name as well as reinforcing the idea that old
Porsches are expensive. Perhaps we should all visit JCT at the same
time for 87 point checks on our cars. We did this at AFN Chiswick at an
open day they had in the early days of the list and it was a massive
laugh because they could not understand why all their service bays had
928s in al morning....
