Dear all,

one small piece of advice for those that may not be aware, when changing any
compont nin the ac system always insist that the receiver-drier is also
changed. this may sound like a bit of an expensive advice but will serve in
the long run. If faulty compressors are removed from engines whilst
replacement one is procurred, moisture and gunk can get into ac system which
the already sarturated receiver-drier molecular sieve will struggle with.
Receiver-drier is used for:-

1. Storage bottle for any un-used refrigerant
2. Moisture removal (dessicant), reaction with gas may burn at the O rings
in the system
3. Molecular sieve to remove fine particles which may harm the compressor

Thanks,

Nadeem
