[928uk] 928 For Sale - Does anyone know its history?

  Hi Tim,

  I don't know anything about this car, but i'd like to say something as your seem to be a bit worried about buying a bad car. I've been driving my 928S (1985) since October last year and have done about 10.000 miles with it so far, including a fast 5000 km round trip to Spain (Gumball style). The car is perfect, no leaks, just a little oil consumption but other than that it's great. My car has 245000 km on the odometer and uses about 12L/100 km of fuel. I think if you're willing to drive a left handed car, you can find very good ones on the mainland. Check out www.mobile.de or www.marktplaats.nl and you'll see what i mean.

    Hi all,

    There is a 928 S4 Auto for sale at the Motor Carriage Company near reading. It is (apparently) Baltic blue with cream leather, what looks like cup wheels, and an alleged fsh. Can't see the registration number, and the web site does not give the year, but it looks like it is on an H plate.

    Before I go and have a look at it, does anyone have any knowledge of this 928?
