Hi Peter,
 
Don't know anything about Simon Taylor's 928's (except for what I have
learned from the replies to your email) but always happy to meet up for a
chat about 928's over a drink!  Unfortunately, I only know of a few 928's in
Essex and most of them are at the London end of the county.  I think there
are a couple in Suffolk as well.   I am pretty busy over the next couple of
weeks but I am fairly free weekday evenings from 19th July onward so if you
want to suggest a date it would be good to meet up.

I have just joined the mailing list having just discovered the terrific
website-well done you guys! I have yet to buy the car of my dreams having
been an admirer of this great car for some time but hope to buy once we have
finished building our new home-(anyone want our existing  very des res near
Colchester-ideal for commuting to the smoke) sorry-must keep to the subject!
Sometime ago Simon Taylor of Autocar fame wrote an article about his
beautiful blue 928 reg WUF something. He later swapped it for a newer one
but I am interested to know if it is still about -maybe ownd by a member?. I
think the colour and special wheels set it off really well.
If any of the owners in the Colchester area wish to make contact please
do-we could meet up at one of the many pubs in our area-Shoulder of Mutton
in Assington is favourite if you fancy a run out.
