The Boxster came with 16" wheels as standard. The 17" Cup style (5 spoke)
was an option. The 7J fronts are shared with the 996 (original standard
wheel) and have a 55mm offset - about the lower limit for a 928. The rears
differ between Boxster and 996 (8.5J vs. 9J) although look very similar.
Both will fit the 928. The 996 rear wheel has exactly the same dimensions as
the GTS (Diameter/width/offset)

I will send you a picture of a GTS on Boxster 17" direct.

I opted for the 996 wheels.
