[928uk] auto box

  I've got a 1985 S with auto gearbox. The gearbox works fine except that i can't manually  get it into 2nd gear. When i pull back the handle, the light on the dash doesn't switch on and the car just shifts up to 3 rd gear. Can anyone tell me if this is an easy do it yourself problem or do i look for specialist advise?

  Is this the 4 speed box ? With gear seecltor lights in the tach ? Does it select all the other positions OK ?
