[928uk] Help - trickle charging query

  The driver's manual on my 1990 S4 auto says that the battery has to be disconnected first, but jump starting actually worked without that. Can anyone advise whether it is OK to connect a trickle charger to the battery terminals without causing any collateral harm elsewhere ?

  You don't need to disconnect to trickle charge the battery, if you are using a safe device like the Carcoon battery conditioner.

  Don't jump start a 928, you may blow up one of the ECUs !
