I've been out playing with the PSD and it is certainly activated by 
lateral 'G', Throttle on or off. Turn in sharply and on it comes. It's 
difficult to say what difference it makes, but the car sticks like glue 
anyway and it was fun playing!.

Interestingly there is no reference whatsoever in the handbook, not even 
the position of the lamp on the instrument binnacle diagram.
Does anyone have any reference to the PSD system in their S4 handbook? I 
think it was fitted from MY 90 onwards, but I don't know if it was an 
option.
