I believe you are referring to "The Real 928" by David Hemmings.

I bought it to add to my collection.

Lots of technical information, not glossy -- black and white.

My assessment is that it's a good primer for expectant owners.
A little UK-centric.

It cost GBP21 on my Visa card (including air mail postage to Australia).

It was worth what I paid.
