Whats right I did pick up the award for the furthest travelled (in the
UK), which was a surprise, if it makes you feel better I actually live
in Longridge which is a bit further north!  Plus had just got back from
San Francisco 24hrs before!

Was it you that picked up the gong for 'furthest travelled UK person'?
If so I was gutted to learn that I had missed this by only six miles!
Especially since I was not likely to win the favorite car catagory.

Did not realise you had doggy brakes when you were following me back!

Made it back to Preston no problems surprisingly my fuel consumption was
not much greater coming home than driving down to Beaulieu considering
the speed difference!

Let us how you get on with the modifications to your car(s) and taking
your car to NZ.

Hopefully Chay (my brother) got some photos of our high speed convoy, so
I will email them to you, the side by side shot should be good :-)

Just want to thank Rob and the rest of the team for the event it was
defiantly worth the trip down from Preston, unfortunately I was in the
convoy that that took the 'wrong' turning (but not the guilty member,
just one of the sheep). It was annoying not to travel down the M3 in the
main convoy, but had such a good time the rest of the day it was soon
forgotten.

Hope to see you all at the next event.

what a great weekend and to top it all i took monday off work and
dropped the orange (award winning!) 928 off to chris sanderson for R&R,
collecting my black SE. chris has attended to several jobs in addition
to changing the brake pads and rotors - what a difference!

these pads will eat my old black mintex liners alive, much better bite
and real fade resistant. i dont think i could possibly need more. they
are ceramic SBS liners in combination with cross drilled discs, just
incredible, really.

after beaulieu on sunday we travelled some distance in higher speed
convoy with luke from preston on our way up north, great fun!
