Nice one.
Wish my head hadn't hurt, but that was just mixing drinks the night
before at Fawlty Towers.

>I went to Beaulieu not knowing what a rally meant. I am not particularly
>interested in looking at other peoples 928's other than seeing other ones
>and it doesn't bother me that some have cleaner engines (I don't clean
>mine) or that some have more of a shine to their paint work. It doesn't
>bother me that part of the convoy took the wrong turning (I was behind the
>part that went the wrong way) and it doesn't worry me that there may have
>been speed cameras even though there weren't any. I am not bothered
>enough to speak technical speak and I couldn't tell anyone anything other
>than my S4 goes like stink when you stamp your foot to the floor.

>What I can say is that my family and I had a great weekend. We stayed at
>a hotel for two nights and enjoyed the food, alcohol and local scenery.
>We arrived at Beaulieu having had a nice drive around the local area and
>saw other 928's even if they were going in a different direction. We
>arrived at a very well organised event and enjoyed the other attractions
>that were on offer. We went home at the end of the day having had a good
>time doing what we enjoy without finding the need to critise anything or
>anyone. Life is what you make of it. If I had organised an event and
>then watched everyone critise unimportant things, I probably wouldn't
>bother again. To me the event was about having a good time as life is too
>short to moan and groan about anything and everything.
>
>Thank you to everyone that was involved in organising the weekend and
>sorry I didn't get to say thank you. My family and I were too busy
>enjoying ourselves.
>
>Also I would like to say thank you to the gentleman at the Travel Lodge
>who offered to give one of my family a lift in his 928 after he had
>witnessed us shoe horning four adults and one child into my 928. It was
>appreciated, but at that point, we were all firmly wedged!!!!!.
>
>Thank you for a nice weekend.

>Regards Philip and family
