Mats - it was me that posted about the headlight bulb 'upgrade'. Here in UK,
most car spares stores now stock "standard" and "uprated" headlight bulbs. I
don't know if this is the case in Sweden.
They are usually based on newer bulb technology rather than higher wattage
to give a [claimed] improved beam pattern and light colour/intensity. Higher
wattage bulbs are also available too, though you have the issue ensuring
that your wiring & fuses are up to the job!
David in Norway was just asking me about the "Xenon headlight upgrade" for
928's. This is an expensive kit to convert the headlights to the latest
headlight technology - but is more than just replacing bulbs. Nobu fitted
these to his S4 last year and seemed happy with them.
You can get an idea of the price from this link:

Personally I think 928 headlights are very good... but then I've heard that
it is very dark in Scandinavia compared to UK!

Hi,
Does anybody know how to increase the headlamps of a 928!
I saw on the list that someone recommended some Philips lamps, Philips
'HiVision' or something, could this be right and can it increase the power
of the headlamps ??
Cheers;
Mats
