I am fortunate that my S2 is a 1986 and already fitted with a lot of S4
running gear. Good luck with sourcing all the break parts.

Hi John
Yes - The conventional solution to this problem is to swap the running gear
with that of an S4 but I've just spent a lot of time and money restoring my
original S2 running gear so this is not an option for me.
Judging by the response to my original question it looks like not many
people or even anyone with an 82 - 86 S2 has up-graded their brakes to S4
spec. If so, then I don't mind being the pioneer in this field - the
experience will provide valuable information to the 928 community.
Regards.

Thanks, but I've got loads of calipers. It's adapters I need to fit them I'm
having trouble with.
If the after market suppliers don't pull their finger out soon I'm going to
start manufacturing them myself.
I've been waiting three years now !
Ben, You might be better off sourcing a set of S4 hub/suspension bits. I'm
sure that 928spares.com could help you. (Nick)
