[928uk] 928 Drag Meet YorkDragway 9th May

Hi all,

Spoke to the organisers at York Dragway today and we can get a seperate
parking up area, a 928 shootout section with seperate results posted for
the group, you are free to run in the RWYB section and if openings are
available still by then in the 0-60mph shootout or the cruise missile
shootout going on that day as well so should be plenty of chances for
more than a few runs.

Admission is £10 for adults £5 for 13-16's and accompanied children 12
and under free. Then £15 per car for the runs down the dragway.
Crash helmets are compulsory and limited amount available for loan, you
also need a driver license as well.
The cars are scrutineered before being allowed to run, basically a check
for bad leaks, wobbly wheels and seat belts etc.

So far 5 to attend and 2 more interested depending on commitments.

The strip has two launch pads on each run a traditional flat tarmac and a
concrete launch pad
I need to advise the organiser of probable numbers in about a week so let
me know please.
