[928uk] Fw: SW Posse on the road again

Just a quick report from an enjoyable day out to the PCGB Front Runner day ( any excuse ) by the South West contingent, on this occasion comprising :  Myself,  Paul Thorn,  John Bevan,  Graham Hunt,  Leigh Coldwell,  Don Peach ( with new to car personal plate ),  Nick Carrington and Mike Williams ( 928-less because its in the paintshop )
Richard Pierce was absent due to an MOT failure and Richard Armstrong was busy on a 356.

We initially met at the Cross hands as usual and then a convoy of 5 drove via Cirencester where we met up with Nick and Mike before meeting Don at Moreton. Some typical Sunday drivers were promptly despatched but there was an uncanny reappearing horsebox that seemed to leapfrog ahead of us on several occasions ?

Weather was patchy but it was refreshing that in total we made up about 70% of the 928s there. A very fair showing.

Paul Thorn showed off his new Cup 1 wheels on his S2, reporting that they significantly improved the ride and of course the looks. Graham lost us several times but found us all again. Mike cried into his coffee with his attempts to convince us he had actually bought a 928 ! Nick accused me of being a hooligan, ( he must have stayed with me to be able to see that and it was a Galaxy ! ) and there was lots of general chit chat.

An early exit to the pub for lunch whilst I flew back home for another engagement.

Hopefully everyone got safely home and blew a few cobwebs off.

Next outing, sometime the end of April, details to be announced in due course.
