[928uk] How many 928's ?

With around 200 UK cars regsitered on the 928uk site and 120 registerd for
Beaulieu - how many 928's are there in the UK?

Chatting with Dr A in the week he reckoned some 4,500 were imported into UK

There are 44 for sale on Autotrader currently which could represent about
half of all on sale at any one time i.e. 100 ish

Estimating a 10-15% "churn" of cars at any one time 100 cars for sale might
indicate 1000 to 1500 around the country.

Of the original imported total there will have been a reasonable attrition
rate over the years - say 50%?? - weighted towards the older ones leaving
about 2000?

So - could be between 1000 to 2000 ??

Anybody got any facts? or actual numbers

Apologies for this thread  - I work in Strategic Marketing ( an oxymoron I
know ) - and  these types of statistics fascinate me and I would be
interested to know just how many 928's there are rolling around the
country - sightings are rare.
