No it doesn't happen with Manuals. - It is a typographical error. Automatics
can get water (coolant)in the Torque COnverter/Auto transmission if the ATF
cooler which is part of the radiator fails.
All 928s with an integral Engine oil cooler (All up to 1990 I think) can get
water in the Engine Oil and vice versa if the Oil cooler at the other side
of the rad fails.
You will only get water in the torque tube if you take your 928 somewhere
where you wish you had taken your Land Rover/Ranger/ Explorer any other
4x4/Ute you can think of.
