Yes, have you seen those ones with hub caps that continue to spin
after the car stops -- just right for removing the grubby fingers
of inquisitive little children? Very, arhm, tasteful?

True, but you can fit 4-piston Brembos inside the standard
Porsche 7-slot 16" wheels fitted to all S4s.
What more could you want (well, for road use)?

I think that Porsche wheels are around 10 to 11 kg per wheel (no tyre).
The early Club Sport magnesium alloy wheels were 9 kg (no tyre).
I have data from somebody with Design 90 wheels. They weigh 19.7 kg
front and 20.7 kg on the rear (with tyres).
I also have one report that "early flats on a S4 weigh 18 kg" (with
tyre).
I think that good tyres in 928 sizes would weigh in the vicinity of
8 to 10 kg, new (this is an educated guess).
There's a lot of variation in tyre weight, also in rim weight (and
Porsche got it very right with their OEM wheels).
It's not at all uncommon for after-market wheels (only) to be 13+ kg.

Be wary of strong drink. It can make you shoot at tax collectors and miss!
