I don't think there are any differences in your '88 S4 and my '91 S4
re-manifold gaskets
                                                Tot
I used 928. 107.313.02 Hose £18.30
                107.603.00 hose £27.60
                110.174.09 hose £18.30
                110.580.02 Gasket x2 £29.30 Manifold
                110.633.00 hose £10.90
                110.637.04 Gasket x2 £5.50 lower plenum
                110.713.01 Gasket £7.70
                110.714.01 Gasket £7.70
                606.144.00 Knock sensor £46.20

These are all the hoses and gaskets required for the inlet manifold,
including the side covers and lower plenum. My hoses turned out to be
ok, but I changed them anyway as I was hunting down an idling problem.
If your knock sensor leads are cracked at all I would change them, it is
JUST about possible to do the front one with the manifold in place, but
the back is such a pain to get at it's almost easier to take the top
off. I have a load of digi pics if you are interested.
The other bugger is the connector to the start valve, inbetween the
manifold and the plenum. Thin fingers are recommended !

These are OPC prices (I didn't have time to shop around) The knock
sensor is half price from Bosch!
