[928uk] 928 Demise??

Does anyone know the story behind the demise(?) of Keith Hacketts 928?  
I saw a letter hinting to this in GT Purely Porsche.... I used to follow Keith's excellent  articles with much interest in the magazine, as he purchased around the same time,  a similar age-d 928 S2 as myself.
