[928uk] 928 Club Sport

Hi

I spoke to guy at the time in 1998/9, as I was considering buying the car.  He said that is was one of a number of 928's that had been prepared for a Porsche 928 Cup series in Germany that was subsequently cancelled.  In addition to being a Clubsport, it had the suspension uprated and an oil cooler fitted to the gearbox, as apparently they tended to overheat after prolonged racing (I think the GTS's have this mod).  I don't remember any specific details on the engine other than it was blue-printed like other CS's/SE's..  I'll give Dave the contact details for him in Germany and perhaps he can then report back anything else to the list.
