Strictly speaking, the jammers are unlawful but if you hide them, would they
be found ? I have no personal knowledge of any of the products, sorry.
Most systems now work on lasers and as already pointed out, you are caught
before you get time to react so of little use. Radar is being phased out
because it is not possible to isolate an individual car in a row, ie it
could be picking up any of them. You will only be caught by radar if you are
the only car on the road. It cannot discriminate between approaching or
receding vehicles.
I would guess that 90 % of sped enforcement is done in 30s where we should
all be keeping it down anyway. Lets see what the government come up since
all the proposals from the Tories surface a week or so back.
