[928uk] removing the aerial

guys,
firstly, Happy New Year to all in the group.
 
Has anyone successfully removed the roof mounted aerial?
If so, how on earth do you do it?

There is a little panel on the underside of the roof lining inside the
cabin. If you flip this open, you can just about see the aerial anchor
screw on the underside of the outer skin of the roof, but I can't see a
way to get at the screw without at least removing the sunroof motor and
bits and bobs.

Any experience much appreciated.
