[928uk] S2 Boot lid spoiler

Nearly happy new year to you all

I have investigated the leak in the boot of the car and found copious
amount of water to be leaking through the spoiler fixing screw holes.
Having removed the spoiler I found the brackets holding the spoiler onto
the car have rotted away and hence some of the screws are missing.

Does this now require a new spoiler or is there a way of fixing new
spoiler brackets ?  Should the spoiler be bedded on mastic when its
refitted ?
