[928uk] Servicing - mundane question!

The answer to question 2 is that Chris Sanderson of Loe Bank Motors (01706 826060) 
is still going strong.  I always take my car there, Chris really knows his stuff 
especially regarding the 928 and is good value for money, well worth the drive up 
to Bury.  I am constantly reading good reviews about him.

Hi Folks

well its been a long time since I last posted - and the last questions
werent that interesting to the more technically able on here (I think I must
be the only tyre kicker here! lol), but it has come to that time of year
when I have to do something other than work......

So its time to treat my baby to a full service and cam belt change - after
all she did spend 4/5 years being un-loved by my in-laws (meant the mileage
is still low though! lol) Anyway, its that time old question - where!? As
you may see from the fine locator for us all, I am in the Stoke area of the
mids. I have been toying with the idea of the OPC in Solihull (just off
junction 4 of M42 - close to work;) ) or tripping up to the once recommended
porsche specialist in was it bury/blackburn. So my questions:
1) anyone had any experience of the offical place in Solihull?
2) is the "specialist" still going and does anyone recommend them?
3) should I be looking at another alternative? What about the peeps around
me? Where do they go?


Again, sorry for the mundane question and hope to finally get to one of the
meets - I still havent managed to polish the dark marks from around the
longwise body/door trim! Tried all the chemicals suggested last time.......
