Simon
A common one is the pipe rots were its held to the cross member, one
point to note or even tell your OPC, I recall later cars use a higher
pressure PS pump 100 bar ?
And the hose has restrictor if I'm right ? could it be that the are
fitting the earlier hose to the later car hence failing ???
A lot of OPCs have little 928 ability these days.

Subject: [928uk] Problem with S4 Power steering hose
Hi,
I'm interested to know if anyone else has had any problems with the high
pressure power steering hose on an S4. I have had 4 hoses fitted so far
this year alone, all by an OPC, and each has failed in the same place.
It fails on the rubber section that goes from the top of the pipe to
just behind the pump.
The OPC is adapment that there are no parts problems, but is also sure
that there are no problems with my car. Anyone else had a similar
problem??
Thanks,
Simon.
