Mark finally collected his £995 eBay purchase yesterday and trailered it home.

"For a shed with 170K miles on the clock it seems to run pretty well but before I even think about using it I want to change all fluids and filters."

"Worst spot is ahead of the rear wheel on the nearside. Looks as though it may have had a poor repair here that has affected the end of the sill. I plan to take the wheelarch liner out tomorrow and have a poke around.

Otherwise it’s not too bad, I think! The fabric in the driver’s seat is shot, unfortunately, and I’m told this is the rarest of the Pascha colours...

Although the car has been laid up for months, it fires up cleanly from cold and doesn’t smoke, so fingers crossed!
