Email me a couple of jpeg digital pictures of your car and it will appear in rotation on the home page for 45 days - so anyone looking for a 928 on the Internet is likely to see it.You will get email from people directly and can track how many people have viewed your advert by looking at the hits on the site.
Be careful of people from far away offering electronic funds to just ship your car - real buyers will come to see you.
Tips for sales - price and describe accurately. If its mint say so, if its not say what the condition is. Try to get the whole list of options from the build sticker. People will ask so its better to find out. We have many expert readers and truly mint cars will get their worth but overpriced cars wont sell. On average it takes a month to sell so I set the adverts to 45 days as people dont always let me know when they have sold.
928s now are becoming third cars, so people are being very picky waiting for the exact right colour and specification that they want to come up then buying it quickly. If someone likes yours it will go fast, if not you may wait until someone does. Its the luck of the draw Im afraid...

1992 Porsche 928 GTS Auto Silver/Black lthr 42000 miles
"Registered in Hong Kong in May 1992, UK spec, RHD Purchased the car in March 2001 and had the car serviced by the local Hong Kong Porsche main dealer and renowned Porsche specialists, Road & Track. I have retained all service and other receipts and obtained a service book from Porsche detailing the service records dating back to 1995. I am third owner
Shipped to UK July 2003. Kept in a secure and temperature controlled professional storage facility. These premises are managed by Sussex largest Independent Porsche dealers and service business, Paragon. Although I only now only use the car every six to eight weeks or so, I have, through Paragon, continued with the recommended regular servicing and check-ups when the car comes out of storage.
This car has only 68,000 kilometers on the clock (42,500 miles)and is in perfect working order. The exterior is Zermatt Silver and I had the front of the car re-sprayed in 2002 to remove a number of stone chips. This work was carried out by the Hong Kong Porsche body shop. The interior is all black, has almost new floor mats, a Nakamichi CD/Radio, JBL speakers all round, 930 steering wheel, Paul Jager shift stick and Jager aluminium door handles and air vents. As with the exterior, the interior is immaculate and includes the originally supplied Porsche tool kit at the rear of the car. I have retained all the original parts that I replaced and these are available if required. The previous owner had reversing sensors fitted.
The tyres were changed some 3,000 miles ago along with a new cambelt. This car will come with a current MOT certificate and a new battery was fitted in August of this year.
If you already own a 928, you will know that the GTS represents the pinnacle of 928 development, if you don't own 928, I can assure you that this is the 'best of the best' that Porsche has to offer and I say that, as a 993 and 996 owner.
The reason that I'm selling the car is that it really needs to be driven regularly and I am just not driving it enough. This car has been competitively priced. Also available is a personalised number plate K** GTS."
