Tilford 2005 PDF Print E-mail
Saturday morning saw 49 cars turn out. Porsche 928s parked on the green at the Barley Mow

Thanks to Stewart Wren for organising another excellent 928 day out. Great to see old faces and new and catch up with you all.

"Apologies for the shower mid afternoon, i obviously did not do enough rain dancing this year. We hope to see all of you and more next year - 1st Saturday in October, put it in your diary. Cheers, Stewart and Sue Wren."

Those of you who can't wait that long remember we have a December meeting - details here soon!

{mosgoogle} Every year we meet at:-

TheBarley Mow
Tilford Green, Tilford,
Farnham, Surrey,
GU10 2BU
Tel: 01252 792205

Nearest train stations Farnham (2.9 miles), Aldershot (4.7 miles), Ash (5.3 miles)

Stewart Wren organises is under the auspices of the Porsche Club GB 928 Register but we're always happy to see any 928 there. I think its the last summer 928 meeting in our calendar and the weather is usually kind to us. We park on the cricket green, have lunch and one beer in the pub! We chat about V8's and such.

Dear fellow 928 owners,

The above will again be held on the first Saturday in October and I hope you will be able to turn out for us. There is room for more than the 80 cars that turned up in 2003 and entrance to the green is now by the drop curb at the top end. Spoilers will be preserved !!

Please confirm with Stewart

If you plan to attend with model/year details and No’s attending.

Do you know of any owners who have not previously attended?

Enjoyable day out and nice to meet new people and old faces. Shame my car wouldnt start for 30 minutes - The problem turned out to be a loose and broken fuse holder!

Well done to Stewart Wren for getting 45 or so 928s out on a potentially wet day!!!!. Nick has posted some pics at his site here (external link).
